Yesterday's email snafu was definitely a "Girl Retrograde is here, you need to triple check your emails" moment. My apologies!!!! But anyways...
How was your day, BooFriend?
The overwhelming majority of people that I spoke to today have a rough day, or are glad that it is almost over. We know Mercury Retrograde is a time to reflect and move a little slower, and for those who are unaware, it just started. For those who don't buy into astrology, their feedback was that it was was a crappy Monday. Two things can be true in this regard, and that's ok!
I decided to pop in and do another email (even though I had plans to wait a few days), because today's Spiritual Homegirl Podcast episode was a Motivational Monday episode. The rating of this episode is not my usual PG but PG-13, as there were some things that could only be delivered a particular way, Homegirl style. LOL
If you are not feeling today, please hit a woosah, cry, or prayer today. Write in a journal, or scribble, you could even intuitive scribble. That's one of my favorite things to do! :-D
Even if you just need a moment to take a few minutes to yourself, take it! For some of you you may need to do some sort of release ritual and burn the whole day up. LOL Whatever you decide to do, please do it if Monday was not your day. Listen to healing frequencies, or if you have the free or paid version of Calm or Headspace, TAP IN. If you don't have access to apps, just go to good ol Youtube. Step outside without your phone and take a moonlit stroll if it's safe, if not just go on your front or back porch and breathe in the air! One thing that I do appreciate since being back home is having good air quality. OR...you can use the 1 minute meditation guide that you may have received when you signed up for this email. Whatever you need to do...please do it! Start over fresh tomorrow.
It's a few quick topics that we talk about in today's Spiritual Homegirl Podcast episode. Besides today being rough for some, we talk about when it's time to fight, and something that inspired me from social media that caused me to question this phrase:
"God don't play about me."
No shot nor sub to anybody that's said it, because in the past, I've said it as well. But...last I checked...
God don't play about His other children, either.
And sometimes, we can talk about how favored we are, which can be true, but it leads us to say things about others can that can ultimately come back to hurt us, more than the sword of any enemy.
